First Post;*

Hello readers,
As you know my name is Maria, and this is my second semester at RIC. I am liking it so far and I am anxious to get into the Education program. Although inside I continue to be undecided about Eled or Early Childhood, I am pretty sure I am going to choose El. Ed. My concentration will either be Spanish or Special Education. Anyway, when not in classes, you can usually find me working with my preschoolers! I have been employed at this preschool for 2 years and I absolutly love it. The children warm my heart! My hobbies include watching Lifetime movies, drawing or painting, listening to music, hanging out with friends & family, waisting time on the computer, playing board games, and video games with my little cousins :). I like the bi-lingual kindergarten classroom I volunteer in so far. Aside from that, I also volunteer for another program which tutors middle school/highschool students on Saturday mornings. In the summer, I will be volunteering at an art-based program for adults with disabilities. I am excited to find out what the rest of the semester will bring... I guess I'll need to wait and see!
